PGH-Canada, Ltd. provides investment management services and products to institutional investors.  These typically involve the ownership of stabilized, income-producing properties, primarily multifamily, industrial, retail, and office, with consideration given to other sectors such as self-storage and student housing. We also make investments in development opportunities and in properties that can be redeveloped or repositioned.

Private equity investments are principally made through direct investment, through joint ventures with operating partners, or through preferred equity positions. Investments in real estate operating companies are also considered. PGH Canada’s clients invest either through separate accounts or in commingled funds.

The investment process includes both strategy formulation and strategy execution: research, acquisition of assets, active portfolio management and eventual harvesting of properties.  During an investment’s holding period, investors typically receive a return on  principal in the form of cash flow distributions or dividend payments, and upon liquidation of the investment position, a return of principal along with any appreciation.
